The Fund’s primary objective is to catalyst the development of critical infrastructure in Ghana and at the same time to generate adequate financial returns to meet the shareholder’s objectives. To meet this key objective, GIIF will implement strategies that are vital to managing a profitable, diversified, and balanced set of investments. The Fund is targeting commercial returns on its investments. The acceptable level of return for an investment in a project will vary depending on the level of risk to the Fund’s capital that is determined during the due diligence phase. Doing so enables the Fund to grow and increase its investment activity, while also avoiding any distortive effects on the market.
